Yep, we're planning to reserve a table at Der Hems bar (Dutch pub, near Chinatown) from 6.30 onwards this Friday (5th)
If you are on facebook, then join the London Lightwave User Group on there, and you'll see the event page
EDIT: Unfortunately DER HEMS is unavailable (at least the upstairs is - taken over by a corporate event) - so I'm looking for an alternative venue.

OK - Crisis averted! I've managed to book a large table at Waxy O' Conners on Rupert Street. It's a massive pub (four bars) so if you can't find us, ask one of the bar staff where we are (it's booked under my name - Dan Sollis) http://waxyoconnors.co.uk/index.php/welcome-to-waxys-london

Apologies for the late announcement, but there's going to be a (long overdue) London Lightwave meetup next week - Wednesday the 4th. Location not confirmed yet, it might just be a pub meet in central, but be great to catch up with people and see what we've been up to.

Hoping to update the website too, but that might not happen until I get back to work after easter! In the meantime, check the forums and/or facebook for updates. Here's what I wrote on the FB event page:
"It's been a very long time - literally years! - since the last one, but a few 'wavers are in town, and it would be lovely to do a meetup. And of course, there is - at last - a new release of Lightwave to talk about. Location hasn't been decided yet, but it'll likely be a pub in central london, soho-ish. Keep watching this space and let me know if you can make it (if there's enough of us, I'll book a bigger space)"
