Viz Engine v3.6 32bit - update to v3.8 64bit? What's involved?

We've ordered some new Nvidia M6000 GPU's for our (2) Virtual Engines (for both the Jib & SteadiCam Cameras) in our "Control Room A", these boxes are HP z800's, each with a Matrox XMIO2/2Plus board. I'll update the RAM to 16GB (think they're only 8GB in each machine now)....

What we can we expect when we update the Artist/Engine from v3.6.1 Bld 31998 32bit up to v3.8 (v3.8.2? Build?) aside the Viz Engine app version and Nvidia version? Versioning suggestions for 3.8 (52783?) and Nvidia...?

What else needs to be done (is there a checklist/procedure/notes?) regarding the other folders/files that make a Viz Engine function with Viz Virtual studio? Studio Setup? (Viz I/O.bat, the "VS" folder, lens file, etc.)? Does any of this software get updated or need to move it's location in Windows - when we update to v3.8 64bit?

We'll backup the current Viz Config and "VS" folders and update the Nvidia, Matrox drivers, .NET, etc. (all the usual Engine stuff) - but are there other things we would need to consider when updating these (2) Viz Engines?

Hi, are you satisfied with your upgrade? Was there any performance improvement?

We are considering changing our NVIDIA K5000 to an Nvidia M6000 card.

Is there anyone who has experience using Nvidia M6000 graphics cards in an Augmented Reality setup?

/Robert
