PROBLEM DESCRIPTION
System is taking an abnormally long time loading sessions. If the session contains network or otherwise external files, Windows may be searching for them via UNC file paths. If the external source is offline, the delay will occur as Windows searches for each file and eventually times out when the offline drive is not found (one file at a time).
SOLUTION/WORKAROUND
In Windows, Map the folders containing the media to be used, then add them to your session. The best means of doing this is to use the Import Media function within the TriCaster software. This should remove the abnormal loading time since Windows will resolve whether the drive is available in a much more efficient manner.
