PROBLEM DESCRIPTION
When attempting to register a TriCaster running software version REV.3 or higher, an error stating 'Serial Number Invalid' will appear when attempting to submit the registration screen within the software.
SOLUTION AND WORKAROUND
In most cases, this error message will appear when the Interface monitor is incorrectly connected to the motherboard DVI port. The ports on the graphics card should be used and these are often labeled as 'Interface' and 'Multiview'. In other instances, this error message can appear if the network card has been disabled. Also, if a different graphics card has been installed (and is a different model from the card originally installed) this message could appear as well. Either another card would need to be installed or the drivers would need to be updated.
