SE1.5 now crashing when I try to render anything.

SE1.5 now crashing when I try to render anything. I tried reinstalling SE 1.0 then in steps up to 1.5, but to no avail. still crashes. Any suggestions?
PC is Windows 8.1.
 
take the moment to fresh install windows 10, then speedEDIT should work if you have problems with SpeedEDIT working on ten let me know we can fix that...
