Yes, this is what LWD have said on Discord.@Shabazzy Right now, the blog is down, getting a page not found. I suspect DNS for the new site is propagating.
If the expectation is that it would rebind at "blog.lightwave3d.com" and/or "forums.lightwave3d.com", that's not happened. It's Sunday afternoon here and both OpenDNS's and Google's DNS servers still return NXDOMAIN for "blog.lightwave3d.com". A "DNS propagation delay" alone isn't enough to explain them still not resolving.@Shabazzy Right now, the blog is down, getting a page not found. I suspect DNS for the new site is propagating.

The LightWave Digital Web Team is working through the site completing the first series of post-handoff updates and getting the new certificates in place. They are working through these as quickly as they can - apologies for the bumpy ride!
You are very welcome @Greenlaw. BTW, are you still using LightWave in your work? Thanks for the update! Glad to hear it's happening.
I'm rarely on Discord and I'm sure I've missed a lot of recent news. When I do visit Discord, I'm usually lurking.
I would take any comment through this channel as casual hearsay. Security certificates only take a few minutes to install. Their effect is immediate. Likewise, DNS changes should not take more than an hour because the TTL on the lightwave3d.com domain is 60 minutes. This is a direct quote of the discord message from Chuck Baker:jweide said:If the expectation is that it would rebind at "blog.lightwave3d.com" and/or "forums.lightwave3d.com", that's not happened. The delay is most likely setting up web sites on new hosting platforms and configuring dependencies. Chuck was most likely mentioning "new certificates" as an indicator of a final step toward publishing a web site (although security setup probably should not be the final step). There are apparently several other steps being worked on and Chuck's comment may have been premature.
He has already publicly published his email address within discord multiple times and as far as I am aware, the issue of spam is something that their email infrastructure would most likely be set up to take care of.It is typically not ideal to post email addresses in public forums. It leads to spam. Was this approved/expected?
Quick update.
The interim Lightwave 3d website; LightWave3dx, no longer requires a password to access it.
So, it looks like things are happening behind the scenes.
