I have the chance to play with a Canon XH A1 this weekend, and I'd like to know how to find the right settings in LightWave to match that camera/lens for some basic stuff (I have no camera tracking software).
if you can take out some still-frames out of the camera and stitch these frames with realstitcher(if thats the name of it) it can give you the FOV data so you can play with some simple stuff ;-)
we use Syntheyes for things like that, and it cheap too com on buy it, the Dollar is low now
The tracking/solving process works best when using a progressive HD format from CCD-sensors. If I remember well the Canon XH A1 can only shoot interlaced.
