disc burning

I burn a lot of disc 2 hours plus in length. Most of the time I use dual layer disc. I have problems with some of them skipping, sticking and sometimes they work great. What programs do yo use that are consistantly successful in burning.

I've had a similar problem and this is what I do now:

Burn an image from Ulead, change the extension from "ISO" to an "NRG" and then use Nero to burn the image to disk.

I hardly ever have a problem with that.

Having said so, I've found that most of the time the problem comes from defective disks, especially dual-layer, I only seem to get 70% of them working.
