From Browser To Broadcast
I'm have been talking with folks about Media DS and am getting some push-back on features vs Wowza ClearCaster. While I understand the core feature differences and the additional capabilities the DS brings (especially around internal distribution), some of the features on the ClearCaster side are compelling to folks - specifically the way Facebook comments are handled and the ability to stream to Facebook at 1080 (and the new universal update for streaming to non-Facebook destinations).
Is Media DS now feature complete or can we expect a 'V2' refresh at some point adding new capabilities?
Not looking for any pre-announcements or timelines - just an indication if there may be more in the pipeline that I can tell folks to hold out for...
