What is Aura Video Paint?

i've never heard of aura video paint until i scrolled down the newtek forums page today. what is aura video paint? what does it do? is this a newtek product? is this product EOL? i can't seem to find anything about it on the net?

I had Aura Video Paint because it was included with the VT3 and VT4 newtek products (precursors to the tricaster) It's a very good painting app that has a timeline, you can paint over time with quite a bit of flexibility, the interface is well designed and easy to understand. It was originally called TV paint in the amiga, then it was sold by Newtek as Aura, then it changed owners and name to Mirage, now, it's called TVpaint again and it keeps improving. http://www.tvpaint.com
