Weft of impression style

I am trying to get the Weft of impression of a newpaper printed image on a render.
Like the halftone filter of After Effects of sapphire effect tool set

For the moment i get dots instead the shadow but i cant get the dots scaling and get more of less narrow with the lighting

Hi,
if you do not necessarily need a solution with nodes, you can use the "Halftone" shader (Surface Editor > Shaders tab).

My advice : Try to start with the simplest node setup as possible.
Basically you want a texture to be driven by a shading node. Once you get the basic, feel free to fine tune it.
In this example I have used an IFW2 texture, but you can use any texture you want.
I also have used DPKit to orient the texture to the camera.

If you want to shade the whole render try the node image filter and the Dots procedural texture... Like so.
