Washington Professional System is seeking a technical staff associate

The Position:
To assist the sales group with product demonstrations to former, current and potential clients on various video and audio solutions (latest cameras, switcher, graphics and editing technologies). We will provide additional direct manufacturer training and certification to the right candidate. As well as provide direct client product training on-site via our engineering support division post-sale.

Production experience and knowledge are a must as you will interface directly with Broadcasters, Independent Producers, Corporate and Government users and will have real-world experience. You will be required to facilitate communication effectively with this individuals.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:
• Knowledge of Digital Switchers (Newtek TriCaster, Broadcast Pix, Panasonic, Sony, Ross and Grass Valley etc.)
• Diploma or Certification in Electronic Field Production, Broadcasting and Video Editing
• 1+ years experience in TV broadcasting environment
• Live Audio knowledge in broadcasting, streaming, studio, ENG/EFP and Post-Production is a plus.
• Knowledge in current digital recording recording formats and systems (some product training will be provided by factory reps)
• Practical knowledge in video system conversion and compression
• Practical experience in Studio.
• Ability to train others
• Ability to operate, Final Cut Pro, AVID and Adobe based NLE Editing and Graphics systems.
• Understand some I.T. functionality and its basic setup configurations
• Excellent organization and communication skills
• Ability to work with a team environment or independently
• Must have reliable functional transportation, ability to travel to customer locations (mileage and expenses will be paid monthly)
• Strong time management skills and the ability to work under pressure.

The position is FULL-TIME, Monday - Friday 9am-5:30pm
