I have been looking all throu this forum and on the internet
for a plugin to be able to take a copy of the current uv map
and make a 4096 x 4096 png file for texturing.

Does any one know if this can be done?

Thanks

You could use the eps export to export any Modeler viewport. Just choose your uv map and the uv view.

Yes that is the way I do it now. There is a plugin that puts a copy
into your clipboard as well. But in both you still have to convert to
the format you want. I know there was one out there I had it until
my hd froze up. But can not find it any where. I just don't know if
it can be done in lscript. And I just don't remember the name.
There were five or six plugins to the pack.

VMapManager works good in modern Modeler.

Thank you for all the replies. I did get UV imaginator
to work. But thats because I now have to work on a
32 bit system. VMapManager looks good but can't aford
$300 right now. So i'll work with what I got!

Thank you all for your input

Well I found out one thing about UV imaginator that I don't
like and that is if you have more then one layer and try to
uv map just one layer it gives you an error!

I have 39 maps for this project and will probably end up with
more as time goes on.
So I guess I'm stuck with uv_copy.

@ Areyos Alektor I have uv mapper and I like it for bipeds
and stuff like that. But would still have to bring the model into
that program to get a uv map. And I don't think it would be
able to do the layers that I want. But thank you for your input!
