For the technique, seems like very slow to use..and why not just use bullet or clothfx for that matter?
What can Storm offer additionally over to something the bullet engine cant?

The 2nd link is slow to process... It'll be ready eventually.

The advantage, as I mentioned in the video is effortless self-collision and volume preservation. Yes it's longer to set up, but if you want a head of full-bodied hair this is a good option.

I still don´t see that as impossible with bullet dynamics.

i have to say that I do video/filn and sim work and most of my scenes/cuts are usually no longer than 600 to 1200 frames. But that's just me.
