Instead of going back and increasing collision iterations and re-sim, it would be nice to be able to paint 'pin weights' or something, the goal being to maintain basic movement but remove high frequency vertex noise or jitter on the surface.
I second that too.
I had this kind of issue with sails and ropes on a ship. I was expecting to fix this kind of issue with Chronosculpt but without success.
Could be a good feature request for this tool I guess.
