Hi together,

now it's finally done. The nuArchitect Bundle is ready.

At first a big thank you to Markus from 3dworks for doing some MAC tests in the early time of nuArchitect Bundle. Because of a test via mail is not the fastest option, I have looked for a MAC. And I found a 2nd Hand one at low cost. So I was able to do the final tests for MAC's.

I decided to release this bundle as Donationware. This means, you can use the software for free, but if you enjoy it, please donate via PayPal to [email protected]. This will enhance the chance for updates and new scripts.

The bundle is packed in 3 zip files. In the file "nuArBunHelp.zip" you will find a file called "Install.html". Open this file in your browser and follow the instructions to install the bundle.

I would be happy to get some responce to this bundle.

Because of upload Problems, the Images for the helpsystem are splitted in 4 files. You have to copy the files from the splitted files into the "img" Folder of your "Help" Folder. the files "nuArBunHelpImg1", "nuArBunHelpImg2", "nuArBunHelpImg3" and "nuArBunHelpImg4" should be handled as if they where in "nuArBunHelp".
I hope this does not lead to complications.

It may be useful to include a couple of screenshots and a description of what these do, its not too clear from the zip names :D

Personally I don't like downloading files 'blind' without knowing what they actually do (especially if they are zips).

congratulations for the release, karl!!

very happy to do the first tests for you and glad you found a mac as well, in the end. ;-)

these scripts are really useful and rather unique tools especially for those doing archiz with LW, but i guess there are a lot of other applications as well if you want to use them 'creatively'...

cheers

As you can see, there are tons of files, so pleas accept that there are not a ton pictures here as well. I hope this description is enough to you.

Markus, any clue as to what they do?

lot's of them are great to create building details - mostly in a historic scene context. but there are universal tools as well among them which could be used for modern buildings. best is to download them and then the help system will guide you through them ;-)

Hi all Users of the old nuArchitect.ls

Markus from 3dworks informed me over an issue that can happen, especially on MAC. If you used the old version, than you should go in any of the geometry creating scripts, Switch to the preferences tab and look at the path. If the last letter of the path says "\" on PC or "/" on MAC, than remove the last letter and klick "Store". If you don't do so, the helpsystem on MAC will not work correct. On PC this is no problem, it seems like PC is in this Thing more tollerant.

Hi TeotiGraphix,

I do not know the exact amount of time. But I estimate about 230 to 250 hours, the time for developing nuArchitect.ls first version not included.

Sorry, I use LW 9.6 and I would like to try the scripts. Do they work in 9.6 or only on the latest LW?

Thank you for your time.

Cheers,
Revanto :p

Hello Revanto,

I can't test if they do, but they should work. Maybe there is someone out there who have tested this bundle on 9.6 and can answer this.
If you want, you can try and if the scripts did not work, you can post screenshoots of the issues (if there are). I will than look for them.

Hello all who have tested this bundle.

I am a bit disappointed about the low responce. I would like to hear what is good as well as what is bad, so I can react in future projects. I can accept that nearly nobody did a donation (it is OK), but to use this scripts without giving responce makes me a bit disappointed. I whant to encourage you to give me a responce about the + and - of this bundle. You don't need to donate, but please help me to do better projects in the future. What I like to hear about is for example the feeling with the interface etc. This can be best done by users who have tested this bundle. The high rate of clicking the threads of nuArcitect shows that there is interrest out there, but I get no responce or wishes.
So please respond

Regards,
KANUSO

Donations in general are never a good way to go. They seldom get used.
Would i have bought this plugin? maybe. i like the Window & Pillar script.
sorry i haven't donated yet. i haven't tested the plugins.

to use this scripts without giving responce makes me a bit disappointed
i can certainly understand that, however, the LW community is real quiet these days.

i'm busy doing other things atm, hopefully someone will respond.

Just to let you know: I am one of those who thought: wow, those look mighty helpful, so downloaded your scripts already a while ago but just have not really had the time to check them out... :-\

I'd recently found time to explore these plugins a bit more, and am quite impressed at the fit-and-polish level they offer, as well as their stability!

I strongly recommend anyone who's doing ArchViz-type work in LW should at least give em a try.
