How would I get info (point IDs) for selected points in the activation routine of a MeshEditTool plugin? :confused:

In the activation function? Not at all.
You can get them in the first build() callback with pointScan().

If i'm not mistaken build() is called even before panel() so you can get information you need to create e.g. selection dependant panels in time.
