Not only late, but non-existent.

Can anyone point me at a structured way of learning the new stuff?
I looked at the videos here: https://www.newtek.com/lightwave/2019/tutorials/
But have jumped all the way from 11.6 they are assuming things I don't know!
I think I need to work through a whole load of stuff, but a few things that have instantly tripped me up....
My displacement mapped moon no longer shows any displacement.
Where have my beloved dome lights gone?!
Global illumination on my Jodrell Bank mesh now makes it look like it's illuminated like a disco ball!
Volumetric lights in another scene became invisible.
Having said that, new defaults seem a lot better, I'm loving the improved FBX import, and looking forward to using seriously huge images.
I'd certainly be interested if there are any paid courses I could buy and download, to work through. Even if I knew some of it, I suspect it would pay off in the long run...

As an aside, this is what the GI produced in 2019 when I loaded up an old scene! Like random pixels are projecting onto the objects...
Dome lights is no more, you either use the standard distant light which now has angled options for soft shadows 360 degrees, or environment Lights.
Volumetric lights is no more..thus all your older volumetric lights will not work, a completely new global scattering system than you need to enbable, then all lights are volumetric.
dont have time to answer the other questions.
yes, this is pretty much the feeling i got. not superb, but better. The new render engine is different but not that different
Haven't touched lightwave in years... Got my upgrade 3/31 now to relearn modeler and layout. Any good resource suggestions welcome. Thank you in advance!
