Hello, NewTek forum folks! I haven’t been around in a long time, but I hope you are all well.
I am cleaning out my studio, and instead of just throwing stuff away, wanted to hopefully make someone who still uses standard-def gear a potentially-tempting offer.
I have the bulk of two sets of VT gear — PCI cards (with daughter cards), SX-8[4] breakout boxes with cables, and at least one copy of the VT[4.6] install CDs. I have no idea what the current condition of any of this stuff is (I do know that it all worked the last time I used it, which was probably 6-7 years ago), and frankly, don’t have the time to investigate right now.
That’s where you come in. I am happy to ship a box of the gear to you (and transfer one or both licenses to you), and if you want to install it in a PC, and check it out, be my guest. If it is not working, you can ship it back to me and I will dispose of it, or you can dispose of it yourself (I would vastly prefer the latter approach). If it works and you want to keep it, if you’d be willing to send me some small amount of money for it, that’d be much appreciated.
Since there are basically two setups, I am also happy to send one set of each to two different people.
