I'd like to see a "time" constant node. This node could be used to drive texture position (or anything else) over time without having to set up Reference Nulls or adding a vector constant and setting it's envelope in the graph editor.
This could either be locked to the timeline or just work the same way the Ripples texture does.
Multiply and Add nodes could be used to alter the timing.
The UnReal game engine's material editor has a time node, but, of course, that's a different beast b/c it's realtime.
