Sensei, you should try and stay on track to what year we live in, this is late 2021, not 2018...which is the year of the accounting for the numbers.
Those homicide numbers don´t track or difference normal homicides VS Gang Criminality, though denmark had some issues with it, it´s nowhere near the level we have in Sweden.
Swedish task force did some major actions targeted to Gang leaders some year ago, and recent events are probably a side effects of other members and young leaders trying to fill the void, that is to be expected ..getting worse before getting better perhaps.
Denmark has a tougher/different way of dealing with Criminals, and we do have a lot more gang shootings over here than they have, it´s not as bad as in the united states (generally) but bad enough for being a once safe Nordic country.
I recall an interview with a mayour in Berlin ( I think it was Berlin ) who said they have a different way with interaction between authorities to deal with Gang Criminality, and they do not have the same level of Criminality.
Swedish police force has been underpayed, understaffed for a long long time with mismanagement.
Excerpt from one of our biggest news media (Aftonbladet)...Google translated due to lack of time...
To crush gang crime, we need to draw inspiration from our neighboring country Denmark, which has acted in a completely different way than Sweden. Instead of driving on in old ruts, the Danes have implemented a number of pattern-breaking measures to crush the gangs.
Among other things, there is a special gang provision in Denmark which means that gang criminals can receive double penalties for the crimes they are convicted of. Anyone over the age of 18 who commits a crime is treated like an adult when the punishment is measured - there is no statutory "youth discount".
The law enforcement authorities have the right to introduce visitation zones when there is a need, for example in areas where it is known that criminal activity is taking place, in order to, among other things, seize weapons. And during the trial, the prosecutor can present evidence in the form of anonymous testimony. All these measures were included by the Moderates in the gang talks last year, but the government unfortunately refused to include them on its 34-point list.
Now Sensei, do you feel safe in Poland? I suppose it´s relative..did anything change from 1990´s etc?
Anyway..I have to get back tomorrow, I need to force myself to bed since I screwed up the dayrythm recently, so Goodnight for tonight, and don´t let the bed bugs bite.
