How do I assign a T-bar to control the teleprompter?

I don't have an external controller and I would like to be able to adjust prompter speed. Also, is there a way to have Live Connect control this?
 
The t-bar doesn't have an ability to control this.

You can make macros to control the teleprompter. I'm assuming you are asking if a remote person can control the prompter. It's possible with LivePanel if you forward port 80 (or 5952). Then the remote person can access LivePanel over the internet. Make a panel with all of the teleprompter control they would need to access.

This all depends on your router. You need to go into your router and set a port to be forwarded to the TriCaster's IP address at port 80 or 5952. Then someone needs to connect to the public IP a the port you have setup as a forward.

I have an x-keys 124 t-bar set to control my teleprompter…..but not through the TC directly. It’s connected to a second computer running CentralControl, which is a great piece of software that can connect
a variety of devices to the TC.

I can also highly recommend the Contour Design Shuttle Express mentioned above). I now use that instead of my t-bar to control the promoter.
