HEVC/H.265 Encoding

Adding this feature to the tricaster line would help a ton with streaming from tricaster to tricaster. The tricaster already decodes h.265. This would also be a huge advantage with 4k workflows.

NDI Bridge supports HEVC if the system does, with the caveat that the transcoding needs to be done on an eternal system - since geForce nVidia cards are limited to three encoders (and these may well already be in use for other duties).

Absolutely. For our workflow, it would just help a ton with sending a higher quality stream from one location to another and would keep everything in the tricaster box.

Understood. The limitation on the number of encoders is an nVidia thing, not ours ... so we'll have to see whether they relax it.
