Edge Nodes- Taper according to light direction or location

Hi, hoping someone can help.

Is there a way to make the silhouette edges taper according to the light direction or location?

All the examples i've seen seem to show the taper tied to weightmaps or turbulence maps.

Thanks, i'll give it a try. I thought it had something to do with the Spot Info node but couldn't get it to work.

Do you have advice based off the Node Editor Edge and the Silhouette Edges Taper input?
Your Global Material technique is nice but not for celshading and toon edges.
