Border widths

So on Spyder and most other switchers and media servers, I can apply a border to a layer and specify the width and color. On Tricaster, as you know, you select a border, but as far as I can tell there are no ways to adjust the premade borders.

My issue is when I need to crop a camera to fit 4 of them across, the “Rectangle Flat” border will be skinny on the sides and fat on the tops and bottoms.

Yes, I know you can use a virtual set, but that involves exiting out of Tricaster and back in in order to change the background layer.

Yes, I know you can create a PSD custom border, but where is the documentation for this?

This feels like it should be simpler. What am I missing?

It's pretty straightforward to make your own. This is covered In the manual section entitled "DSK CONTROLS", under the sub-heading "Borders".

Not seeing this... looking at section 9.6 DSK Controls in the TC2 manual. Also, why would this have anything to do with a DSK when I’m using the M/E in 4 layer mode and applying the border to the layer?

In the TC2 manual, it's in section 14.5 under "BORDERS, EDGES AND SHADOWS". Ctrl + f is your friend. :)
