Applying an effect to a clip after it's been edited?

I have a long clip that I've chopped up and used in several places in my piece. Now I realize I have to do some color correction to it.

Is there a way to color correct the master clip so that it gets applied to every instance of this clip in my project?

Couple ways to go - the easiest is probably to color correct one, then add that correction to the Toolshed as a user preset, finally applying it to the others.
