now i wan't to make a advance rig for it like stretch a squatch rig so i started to do some test for a reverse foot rig with joint !
my reverse foot rig work well but it doesn't stretch now !
my question is how can i acheive this type of rig with joint i have read some where it is very simple to making !

You know there are free tutorials on NewTek's Lightwave site.
I *think* William Vaughn did a tutorial for Inverse foot rig using joints, but couldn't find it offhand.

    yes

    thank for this information
i have already seen i think all those tutorials many time in fact.
The rig how mad William Vaughn doesn't work for me.
i have made mine with joint i apply him a ik system so when it is apply the joint rig couldn't stretch anymore like i want !
in the video William Vaughn doesn't show if the rig can stretch on the upper leg or on the knee !

i keep looking for testing and on the web !
i have just find a complexe system on web with expression but i think now it should be a lot more easy with new joint system.
i think i need no more to code expression ?:agree::agree: right or not ?

hello every one ! here the post of the day

ok so i have mad a test of what i wan't to setup !
but i think it still conplicated to make !
i have to serie of bones actually !
i make a ik system with bones and i make joint rig who are parented to the proper bone the system is ok i think !
this method was inspire by the man candy rig who mas made in blender "for the peoples who knows it "
but i still thinking it is not a good method !

So my question is "who can i make a joint rig ik system who still stretch like in the file ?

thank you very much for attention !

    ps i hope i m clear !

First... your rig is using IK on multiple channels, it wont work properly... u need planar IK with a parental offset for the chain... check out the make joint chain tool... thatll get u going in the right direction for starters...

    Then...

To do the stretchy IK reliably, youll want to clone your rotational IK chain, and add positional IK on the bones Z channel... then reference the Z positions back on your original chain using a constraint "such as same as item", then you can blend beltween regular IK and stretchy IK.
