    IPTV Options

I work for a new cable TV system. We have a FTTP full fiber system. We send all of our channels out as IP traffic to the set top boxes. If the Tricaster would stream full NTSC mpeg2 out over the network as a muiltcast stream UDP I could plug in to our network anywhere in town and broadcast live with out any set up. What is the odd that this could be done?

    Thanks

With some adjustments you can stream UDP in Windows Media but not sure about MPEG2. You most likely will need a standalone encoder. I suggest the VBrick or HaiVision encoder boxes. Both companies have units that will do what you need.
