New User Question about Showing Numerical (Geometric) Polygons?

I apologize for this as I am sure its a very basic question but I was watching a tutorial and the guy added in geometric polygons to a cube. You can see in 1.jpg it shows the blue lines.

However, when I open Lightwave on my computer I cannot get those blue lines to show and am stuck with just the overall view of the cube.. I seem to be able to add the polygons but I can't see them (I can drag them out though, like clay or something).

You can see my screenshot in 2.jpg

What do I need to do to set it so I can see the blue lines?

    Thanks for any help

You need to have your viewport view set to textured wire or wireframe shade. In the picture from the tutorial, he has his set to wireframe shade (which I can barely see).
Top of the viewport - clicking the down arrow gives you other viewport shading options.
