    bones trouble

I often get bones in a leg that when they move, they jiggle around to much. Like they are shaking. I record pivot rotation for all of them, but they still seem to jiggle. How can you get rid of this problem? I'm using IK.

Recording Pivot Rotation is definitely not the solution. It is never the solution to any real problem, as it's effect are mostly cosmetic, buffering the rotational channels so they show three pretty zeroes. More often recording seem to cause problems as the old team didn't quite know what they were doing and because it's hard to fully grasp what it does and how it relates to regular keyframes and rest poses.

Very likely the IK you've setup is trying to solve on too many channels or improper channels. If you want any more detailed help I suggest you post the rig, or part thereof. (no need for geometry; but would be nice if you included that aswell; if only a prop or lowres version).
