    Robot+Tank

    Nice to meet you. (>v<)
Everyone's work was seen, and I got stimulation enough.

This schedule, the rule, and the size were considerably severe.
I want a lot of people to see.

    My English is unskilled. ^_^;

Very good. Nice models and compositing.

Just that tiling concrete texture in the background is a bit obvious. (It's probably part of the photo and I'm completely wrong!)

Really nice. Can you render out a single frame with all the bells and whistles (like tweaking your Depth of Field, AA, Ambient Occlusion, and HyperVoxel settings the way you would if you had plenty of time)...maybe color correcting the scene in a compositor. I'd really like to see what this would have looked like if you didn't have such a tight deadline.
That robot looks terrific. I like the shot where the blade comes out of his right arm. Good stuff!
If you could add some smoke in the background (in a war scene like that, you're always going to have residual dust and smoke lingering in the air...it needs some loose blocks and concrete fragments laying around for a little bit of chaos...otherwise it looks to clean...in war scenes, chaos is the look you're after). I think that would really help set it off.

If I may make one more suggestion to try...take your textures, in Photoshop...with some grundgy brushes, add a very light layer of dirt and grundge to the texture (maybe using the "Multiply" blending mode at 10-20% opacity). I would make it a bit more heavy on the street texture, and the side walk. Only a very subtle amount on the robot, and bring the specularity up just a bit, so that the overall texture is not totally 100% flat.

On a tank, the paint is intentionally flat (so that the object has no glare to catch an enemy's attention), so it's good like it is. But the robot needs just a small amount, I think, in order to make it pop. If you can try these few tweaks, I think it will really add some extra punch to your already impressive work.

I do not have English language skill at all.
It answers though it is thought that there are a lot of misunderstandings and a recognition differences, etc.

    Truly, congratulations.
I am glad to get the comment.

    Thank you. !! (>v<)

    Thank you.
It is serious when in the composite, there is a limitation.
The expression of smoke became a fight with time.

I was impressed to see HomePage of Mr. Iain.
I want to improve the skill more.

..explanation.. thank you very much considerably in detail.
    It became study very much.
I want to translate slowly because it is not good at English, and to try to study to use it as his knowledge.
It is regretted to have cut down "Ambient Occlusion, and HyperVoxel settings" , and thinks that even here is my current ability.

I want to become good more. !!!!!!!!!
And, I want to become a professional.

    Thank you very much.

Wonderful, original work! I love the robot's fresh look. It is very cool.
    Also, lighting is very realistic.

Myself, I'm really beginner just now..

No, because this is the one having submitted it to the contest, all are original.

I believe he meant is it based on "armored core". Very nice work. models look great and textures are a good start. I would love to see this scene improve as you learn more. Great metal textures on the blade. great work!!
