    Instant planet!

I'm sure just about everyone has seen this already, but I just happened upon and thought I'd share.

Flaming Pear has a Photoshop plugin that makes planet textures very quickly:

    http://www.flamingpear.com/lunarcell.html

LunarCell, as it's called, makes color, bump and all the maps you need with pretty nice results. There's even a trial version. Best of all, full versions costs only $20.

Wow, very cool. You'd spend that $20 alone on a good texture sometimes.

They also have a plug call SuperBladePro that creates textures. Haven't used it, but it looks decent.

I am going to buy some of those just because they are so damn reasonable in price.

    Look like fun.

And I see Digital Element has a plug that lets you import LW objects into PS:

    Way ahead of Rendition.

Yeah whats up with rendition. If you ask me NT kind of missed out on a great opportunity getting that out right after PS3 was released.

Beat's me. Kind of horks me off a little after I really could have used it for a project ... even signed up to beta test, but never heard anything.

Still, I'd rather have native hair in LW than Rendition!

Yeah I would rather have efforts focused on LW as well, but it seems kind of strange. Like it was or is vaporware or something.
