    Those @#$%## Corrupted AVI files.

I notice we have yet another corrupted avi file case due to not closing out properly prior to shutdown. Please Newtek, add a test prior to closing out of Tricaster to see if recording is happening and if so, pop up a dialog box and ask if you wish to stop recording. Most applications test the situation prior to closing (Word, Excel, Photoshop, etc.)

If someone just shuts the machine off that is their problem.

You may not think of this technically as a bug, however it is a glaring user interface deficiency that could be solved very simply.

Sorry, Jim -- just replied to the other post in this thread! I suggested this here a while back, and Paul seemed to think it was a good idea.

As a programmer, I hate it when people say 'that should be pretty easy to implement!'... but c'mon. That should be pretty easy to implement.

Want to get your cached video back after a TriCaster crash or forgot to turn off the record button before shut down TriCaster?
FixNTavi can help to scan and fix the unclosed cached avi files of TriCaster.
Drop me an email for details.
