    Divx help?

    Hi All,
I am trying to use the new divx 6.6 codec in Lightwave 9.2 and am having no luck. Has someone done this and if so, how did you set it up? I tried using the .avi format with divx as the codec but I get a stream save error. Any ideas?

    Thanks,
    Thad

Stream save error could be from wrong pixel resolution aspect, but not sure.

I usually save out frames instead of anims because if you have a crash with an anim, you ned to render the whole thing over instead of only from the crash point with frames. I always assemble frames in a 3rd party editing app. You have more control, options and you can add audio.

VirtualDub does a good job of putting frames together, and it's free.
