What Music do you .... to?

Seeing all the poll threads, I was wondering...

What music (if any) does everyone listen to while editing, modeling, animating etc....

I didn't become a pure Computer Geek/Editor till mid 20's and at that time I was a hard core Phish Head, so then it was nothing but.....

Now in my mid 30's it's net radio Jazz a lot. LOVE Brian Parker Jazz station on the net.
    http://www.jazz-radio.fm/

Garage A Trois, Charlie Hunter, Little Dead here and there.
Still jam/jazz rock, just a little more mellow. (At times)

    Anyone else...?

Guess this one wasn't debatable enough....

Just thought it would be interesting considering the range of folks and interests here. Plus I am always looking for a good new music turn on.

    Alas....

You probably won't get much feedback on this post. I think it is really up to you what you do while you are modeling.

Just for grins I have at least 15 hours of game midi music on my computer that I listen to.
Every time I think about Marvin the Paranoid Android, I realize just how good my life is.

During the morning I like to keep it fairly low key. This morning it's been Feeder, Jack Johnson and Metalica.

During late night sessions I like something that thumps along a bit more.

I like listening to eps of 'I'm sorry I haven't a clue' the panel game for those people who hate panel games, or The Now Show. Very very funny! Otherwise, a lot of comedy or drama radio stuff from the BBC website. Music wise, Kate Bush, Cyndi Lauper, Fiona Apple, Evanescence, Nat king Cole, Natalie Imbruglia, all sorts really

Oh, a lil' Barry White here, maybe throw some Marvin Gaye or Luther Vandross in the mix.

I like to listen to songs from The Phantom of the Opera. If not that a beautiful song from an old Anima show I used to like called Outlaw Star. It was the song played during the credits in the earlier seasons.

    Dear JimC

I just got myself Entombed's new WHEN IN SODOM EP. I m JUST banging my head and trying to see the screen at the same time. It is Hard but i absolutely blown with their When in Sodom song. Amazing piece of brutal death metal. I was so soft lately underground etc.

rob zombie's new album is also good for poly moving, also i m re-listening my old Helstar CDs. If you guys wanna hear extreme guitar playing and amazing composition Helstar's Nosferatu is an outstanding effort.

ART!!!! LISTEN WHEN IN SODOM! amazing! Swedish Death Rules again!!!

Yeah, I used to listen to my harder stuff while modeling, too. I found that I really couldn't get much done with all that thrashin' and head bangin' going on.

I just realized most of the stuff I like is from Sweden:
    Opeth
    Dark Tranquility
    In Flames
    Therion
    Arch Enemy

Also some other stuff from other countries
    Blind Guardian
    Haggard
    Iced Earth

Also www.gothmetal.net has all of the above and more on the radio.

Other than that I like "I hate tou more than a flash web site" by Tyrot, and The game music from C64 games Myth and The Last Ninja.
Actually long time ago in high school I was waiting in the line to get a cup of tea and I didn't realize I was whistling, and a guy was like "playing Myth lately ha? so I know I'm not the only sicko.

Quite a variety here. Myself I like country. Most of the time don't listen to anything at all, but I am starting to get a collection from Itunes, so if I remember I may turn it on for awhile. My new computer has a fm tuner so, local radio is now an option, but I don't care for it too much with all the static.

Usually listen to the iRate Radio. It's an open-source collaborative filtering program that just goes out and downloads (legally) songs that it thinks you'll like from places like mp3.com.au. I love it! It gives me a huge variety of music to listen to.

I also have song TV theme songs (Inspector Gadget being one of them) on there, and I love game music (Super Mario 3, Bubsy, etc.)
