    Cardboard render

I just finished a building render and then I remembered I had some paper textures I made last year. So I made a second version.

    This is the first render:
    original was done at 3000x1500
Just posting this as a reference

This was rendered at 1000x500 so isnt as detailed but I didnt feel like waiting 5 hours to see an AA version

I was thinking about swaping out the trees for cubic looking trees, but that might be too blocky.

The texture was scanned from one of those notebooks you can get that are empty with biege pages. Then I made series of 7 images from light to dark.

Wow, that's really cool. The little cardboard people are great.
Maybe add a small piece of tape sticking out here and there to make it look more like a real model.
And mis-fit a random edge or two.
I'd love to see a whole animation done this way.
    Looks great!

    Thanks

Yeah some tape and blobs of glue might be nice

Currently messing around with making some paintbrush style textures using Painter and Photoshop.
