    Transparent PNG texturing

    Hi there Guys,
This is most probably the easiest question to answer, but Ive never done this before .. How on earth do you apply a transparent PNG to a surface?

What I have tried to do is have a seperate surface [of where I wanna put the texture] loaded up the texture editor, put on the bg texture .. and then I added another texture layer with a png .. its not happening for me .. does anyone have a clue?

    CHeers,
    L

when you load up your PNG's with their embedded alphas, go into the image editor in lightwave and click on "avitave alpha" or something like that.

    It's in the book..

Have you tried a render of it? When I use PNGs on a surface it shows up with a blocky black background and looks weird in Layout, but actually renders fine.
