    turn the lights on please

Does anyone know a fix to this: I set my diffuse levels to around about 30% whilst texturing my models for rendering, the thing is that in modeler the textures are too dark to see so i have to add luminosity to them whilst setting up. once set up i have to remove the luminosity prior to render. is there a way of 'turning the lights on' in modeler so i dont have to mess about with luminosity????

I know what you mean.. I'm working on a dark object, and I have to add luminiosity when I work on it..

I don't know if there is anything to 'turn the lights on'

Here is the trick i use.

Don't use the standard diffuse level.

Instead add a a texture procedural. Set the proc type to "value". This gives you a basic color. i set it to a grayscale value of the level of difuse i want.

Modeler doesn't read this texture information so you can leave the standard difuse level where you want.
