    voxels render bad when are close to camera

    Hi everybody,
    I try to make some clouds with hypervoxels. My camera is moving trough the clouds. In some frames the smooth voxels are rendered with verry bad quality. I think that this is from camera clipping ranges. I tryed everything with the range parameter, but there's no solution at now.
    Is there some trick or I miss something?

    Have you adjusted the rendering quality of your HVs? you have to use the highest possible settings, 'cos this actually decides how many slices/ voxels are used for rendering and thus directly affects clipping. The same goes for the thickness and smoothness parameters.

    One more thought: crank up the frequencies/ octaves of your procedurals. This will give you finer details and perhaps be enough to eliminate some clipping since it will force LW calculate the ray intersections more precisely in fine areas.

    dissolve them out before they hit the camera....using a gradient in the dissolve channel, with distance to camera...youll have to tweak the gradient depending on your scale....
