    THANKS! I've been working with OpenOffice for all things Office like. Their html editing mode isn't bad but I am looking for a replacement for frontpage.

    This will go a long way toward that. Appreciate it.

    For not too complex sites iīve been lately delighted with this seemingly simple but actually powerful free editor:
    DHE Web Editor

    Itīs got powerful layering capabilities (once you get used to it) in a very sparse interface.

    I need to find a decent WYSIWYG HTML Editor, I've been using Claris Homepage since 97, so you can imagine how out of date that is.

    I've found even the final release version a little bit buggy, but it's stable enough to be useful. I do all my website on it, though don't let that reflect badly on nvu

    thanks for posting. I like the fact that Nvu runs out of a folder, without running any full setup etc. Does it offer an option to open/save files via ftp?

    Sure!!! Now they have a descent FREE HTML editor on the market. I already bought Macromedia Studio MX Pro (had Frontpage... horrid!).

    I will play with tis one none the less. Can never have to many html editors. I wonder, does it recognize cfm files...

    4gb ddr2 1066
    dual 9600 gt (512mb each) running SLI
    9600 black edition amd
    780a nvidia chipset
    XP Pro or XP Pro 64 or Windows 7
