Beginner question, But I need help!!!

Ok, I really need to figure out how to convert a curve into a 2-vertice polygon. I think that there should be a plugin out there somewhere. Can anyone please help me. I have tried freezing the curve and everything, but that gives me just one big plane...where I need just a stream of 2-vertice polygons.
    Thanks!

D-Storm has a plugin called curve2poly that converts curves to 2 point polys. The location is http://www.dstorm.co.jp/english/plugin/modeler.htm

After you freeze the curve, bevel with zero shift, zero inset. Then delete the "plane" and a polylines depending on wether your curve was closed or not. Last, merge points.
