Unhappy How to animate leaf&flower grow up?

I am trying to grow up a tree, I use the morphing and spline control to animate the tree, but when I apply the same technic to leaf & flower the effect is not good, and the polygon were be run away when I render out to animation.

The tree grow up technic I learn from www.md-arts.com, and the tutorial name is "Morphing Vines".

Who can post the tutorial for my or teach me how to do it, I try many time still can't get it.

    Thank alot.

You could do it manually place the leaves where they belong set a key frame at the end of your animation, then change the size to a very small number such as zero and set that keyframe on frame zero. Then go through and set new keyframes at the point the leaf should appear.
If you have a lot of leaves and you arn't so picky on the location of the leaves. You could create a single leaf and use fx linker to make particle copies of that leaf.
