    BobsLegalizer plugin... for Live switching?

We use our VT3 in a church and will at some point be moving to broadcast.

    My question is:
Does anyone know if using 4 live switching cameras, will this plugin fix all cameras to legal limits? or can you only use this in a post environment.

If anyone could shed more detail on this plugin, that would be great.

Don't quote me, but I'm "Pretty Sure" that it only works in post on a per clip basis.
I guess you could record the entire service then apply Bob's filter to be sure.

I'd just check and adjust the levels through the VT before the service though. This should work fine.

Of course the best thing to do is use the tools already in VT to create Legal Video to start with.

But I believe Ted is right, Bob's Legalizer is mostly a post production tool.

Your interests would best be served by the proc amp. It even has some automatic capabilities if all cameras can output colorbars. Worth investing some learnin' time prior to services this Sunday, eh.

Question about the Auto Cal function in the processor amp....
My camers (VX2000) do output color bars, they do not include the botom "3rd" for the black level.... The bars go all the way from the top to the bottom.

When I use that auto feature... it asks 75% bars or 100% bars..

Would I be correct to assume that 75% means bars that also have the lower part for the black level and 100% means my case where its the full screen?

or does that mean 7.5 ire (75%) vs 0 ire (100%)

    Thank-you in advance.
