A return of Joe Alters Shave n Haircut for its instancing features?

I know there was some riff from the old NT and Joe alter to make him stop his plug for LW.
It had great tree instancing features which im dying for.

HD instances isnt on mac so I have no choices.
What would have to change for shave to return?

Joe once posted a long time ago his frustrations with limitations in the SDK, as Steve Worley has recently.

Sometime last year, he was looking for a Lightwave programmer, so perhaps Shave might make a reappearance on Lightwave. Hopefully it will, as the quality of the hair it generates on all platforms is fantastic.

Was there a mac version? It has a parallel dongle... that's all you need. Joe will probably give you the latest version he has if you just contact him and tell him you purchased the dongle. He's a good guy.

No Mac version was ever released, only Intel.
