    CHICAGO LightWave 8 Seminar

3D Garage and AGA Digital Studios, Inc. is thinking of planning a Chicago area LightWave 8 full day seminar.

Anyone interested? I'm trying to get an idea of people who'd like to attend a classroom style seminar, near the O'Hare / Schaumburg area. It would be a full day seminar, 10 - 5, covering project based lessons with LightWave 8. We're thinking about a $79 price tag for the day - lunch is on your own, and feel free to bring laptops.

Let me know if interested and we might set it up!

very cool Dan, but you could probably get a little more than $79 a head for it.

If on the right day and under $100.00 in Chicago area -
I'm 95% sure I can swing it with my wife

I'm 45% sure my wife and I will be out of town, June 13 - 15
    for our anniversary.

I'm 5% sure I might bring another guy if he is interested.

    I'm 100% sure I hope more people want a Chicago-area seminar.

I'm 110% sure I'll alert the Milwaukee guys to this thread.

*note: I'm really only 15% goofy.

    Go for it!

    Thanks for the feedback -
we're looking at maybe mid to late June. Also, there will be a one day only special on the 3D Garage LightWave 8 courseware, something like $150 off...

The cost of the one day seminar will not exceed $99. It all depends on what kind of deals we can swing with area hotels.

DanAbla- I would be interested in travelling to that location only if you explored some of the more advanced concepts.

Personally I would pay more for this. You ought to consider doing a two day deal- one for beginner-intermediate and the second for advanced concepts covering everything from animation channel modifiers to PFX to advanced special effects techniques. If you did something like this I would be happy to pay you two hundred bucks for a day of your time and you can count me in today.

You are a great trainer but I don't want to spend the money and drive 6 hours just to get a rehash of a lot of beginner-intermediate stuff that I have known for some time.

Thanks - I've considered this, so let me figure out what will work best. I'll let everyone know with enough lead time.
