    Widows XP and Registering It

Of course I'm very happy that the VT2 works with Windows XP. From what I hear it is a very stable OS. However, the bummer is that you have to have your computer hooked up to an internet connection. I'm still using AOL. I know...I need to get away from that. I was wondering if I could creat a LAN between my two computers and hook up to the internet that way instead of loading AOL to my clean install of XP on my VT2 computer. I really don't want anything on my VT2 computer that doesn't have anything to do with video.

Thanks for your help. The motherboard on my VT2 computer is the P4DC6+ with onboard network connection.

    Paul,

You can call Microsoft and do the authorization over the phone. I had to do that once because of a down Internet connection. As I recall it took about 2 or 3 minutes and it's all automated - you don't even have to talk to anyone or provide any information.
