    Illustrator CS

    I cant seem to open my Illustrator CS Files EPS or otherwise anyone have any information on this? is there an update to Lightwave 7.5 or an updated eps inport plugin?

    ok I figured this one out my self .. you have to do Export then you can pick an older version of Illustrator you want it to export to and LW can improt it

    I wonder if you can design/manipulate images of money in illustrator CS.

    No, seriously, does Illustrator and in fact do all of the CS series programs have the same "limitation" as photoshop?

    The same thing confused me for a bit, too. I don't know why they moved it from Save As... to Export.

    For those that don't know:

    Version 9 and above of Illustrator native file format uses the PDF format, version 8 and below use the postscript format which the Illustrator import plugin for LightWave uses.

    So use v8 and below, it doesn't even need to be an EPS, an AI works just as well (because it's basically the same thing).

    Adobe's "CS" line stands for Creative Suite... Just a new line with different features compared to the X.X series.
