    Flight of the dragon

    Shamelessly copying my text from cgtalk, too lazy to write the same thing again:

    Dragon object, bright light, surface to cast light on, some gimmickry utlizing radiosity blotches and blown highlights to create clouds: Voilá! A dragon catching the rising air, making way over a cloud..

    Image consists of the light and shadows playing on a planar surface - no 3D visible in this shot except in the form of a shadow.

    Very Very beautiful picture with ooodles of atmosphere.

    The simple ones are always the best.

    Yes, it's very beautiful, but the only problem is that there is no feeling of scale. If you hadn't said it was a dragon, it could just as easily have been an insect.
