    Question about reflection blurring

Hi, i'm new to this forum, and rather new to lightwave
I've been using it for about 2 years now, but haven't devoted much time to it until lately.

I'm just starting to get familiar with some of the advanced features and i've been looking for a way to soften reflections on some surfaces.
I've used the 'soften reflection' filter, but as an image filter, it obviously affects all surfaces in a scene, regardless of their glossiness or lack of, which is not the effect i wanted to achieve.

I was wondering if there's a way to apply different degrees of reflection blur to different surfaces, can anyone help me here ?

    Thanks in advance

Soft reflections can be found on the advanced tab.... Once you activated it, you will also notice the Image filter no longer necessarily affecting your entire image but just the blurry materials. Be warned, this will greatly increase rendering times since it is based upon oversampling of multiple rays per intersection point.
