3d print: square photo filter holder

This is actually work in progress.

The idea is to use one of those siginficant cheap china sets as a base for further extension / own filter ideas.
Since those seem to have a different size than the standard 100x100mm (or 4x4) scale I decided to come up with a modular and adjustable filter holder design wich is easy to print (avoding overhangs).

Modeled in LW (except for the standarised parts wich comes from an online lib) and rendered in cycles. And after some slight redesign from the previz, I printed it using cura and an anet a8
Still have to rework the design to allow intermixing of various filter sizes, but for initial experiments thats ok

I like lw for those cad like stuff. Its quite easy to setup such models in a short period of time, and thanks to muscle memory, your brain stay more in the design mood.
Might release it on thingiverse after some tweaks

    Awesome execution on your idea.
I'll look for it on thingiverse for the school.
